How come MS is suggesting possible fixes but I have never heard anybody explain what the underlying problem is? I have the same issue.
I would suggest you uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Intel chipset drivers and Intel Matrix Storage Manager.

I followed your advice and uninstalled, downloaded the drivers from Gateway, and reinstalled the Intel Management Engine Components and the Intel Matrix Storage Manager.
