The handle grip with the strap works great. I currently have a friend hold it at the back of the boat I also wakesurf I use a Tige with a tower with a large bimini top. We took the GoPro with us yesterday and the first mount I tried was the roll bar on the ski pylon. The same idea goes for helmet and other mounts.

There was someone on here that went to a lot of trouble to get the perfect suction cup mount location only to have the rope knock it off the boat. My gopro was also 4 years old and worn down so that could have been the issue http: Wow, I'm surprised the surf mount could come off!

Your job is simple: With the floaty back door attached, I also tethered it to a grab handle in the boat. For us Loudoun is perfect due to the location. Also i surf a lot in the ocean and use a mouth mount for my gopro since holding something and paddling is really tough, but i took it out on the boat and it worked well too. On the rare occasion something happens within camera view, the wide angle lens makes everything look much less impressive than you remembered in person.
